Mr. Caissie was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Vitalité Health Network in December 2010. Until his recent appointment, Mr. Caissie was Vice-President of Finance and General Services for Vitalité Health Network. From 1988 to 2008, he was Vice-President of Finance and Corporate Services with the Beauséjour Regional Health Authority. For a few months in 2008, he served as Acting President and CEO of this same Health Authority.

Over the years, Mr. Caissie was a member of the Management Committee of the “Centre de formation médicale du Nouveau-Brunswick” and also contributed to the provincial study on non-clinical services. Additionally, he was involved in the implementation of the nephrology telemedicine project—a project that has made Vitalité Health Network a leader in this field.

Mr. Caissie is a chartered accountant. He has a bachelor’s degree in administrative studies and a health sciences degree from the Université de Moncton. He also holds an accounting degree from Concordia University.
