Rino Volpé has been President and CEO of Vitalité Health Network since February 1, 2013. He has also been Co-Lead of the Office of Health System Renewal since April 2012. He previously served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vitalité Health Network and of the New Brunswick Health Council.

Mr. Volpé has 27 years of experience leading recognized New Brunswick private sector organizations. He is President of Gestion 5m Management Incorporated. He has formerly served as Vice-President of J.D. Irving Ltd. (1991-2004), President of Assumption Life Subsidiaries (1983-1990), and Vice-President of Les Entreprises Nadeau (1976-1983). He has been Vice-President of the Atlantic Cancer Research Institute and President of the Conseil économique du Nouveau-Brunswick and has chaired various other organizations. At the outset of his career, he spent four years teaching at the Université de Moncton, Edmundston campus.

Mr. Volpé holds a Master of Science degree and has attended numerous courses and seminars to further his personal and professional development. He has taken courses at universities such as Harvard, Queen's, McGill, Western Ontario, York, and Rutgers.
